Damodara is a backup plugin that runs on your own Minecraft Paper server. This page explains what it accesses, what it stores, and what it doesn't do. The developer does not operate any servers that receive your data.

What Damodara does with Google Drive

After the server owner connects a Google account, Damodara uploads completed backup archives to that account's Google Drive. Each archive has a timestamp in its name.

The only permission Damodara requests from Google is:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file

This permission is limited to files that the app creates. Damodara only uploads new archives. It does not list, download, overwrite, or delete anything in your Drive.

Damodara also doesn't remove old backups from Google Drive. Uploaded archives stay there until the account owner deletes them.

What is stored on your server

Backups contain whatever server files they include, which can be sensitive. Please keep your server and your Google account secure.

Who can access your data

Only you, and anyone you give access to your server files or your Google account. The developer does not receive your Google credentials or your backup files.

What Damodara doesn't do

A note about live backups

Damodara copies files while your server is running, so backups are best-effort. Files that change during the copy may be captured at different moments.

Disconnecting Google Drive

To disconnect your Google account, run /damodara auth disconnect from the server console. To stop uploads, you can also set google-drive.enabled: false in the plugin configuration. Neither step removes archives that are already in Drive, so delete those yourself if you want them gone.
